It’s made up of eight members and directed by a board of directors where Maria de Lourdes serves as the president. The members have different businesses including: toy sales, salchipapa sales, clothing sales, book sales, Esika product sales, arts and crafts sales, and sandwich sales.

This loan will benefit small businesses where Maria de Lourdes is a member and she says that she has been with Pro Mujer for two years, having joined on a friend’s invitation. She sells salchipapas (food) and began several years ago on her own initiative.

This loan will help her buy a cooler and pitchers at fairs in El Alto and then use them in her stall. This type of work allows her to generate income to maintain her household. She is single and has two children.

When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the health training.

La A.C. “LUZ DIVINA” iniciará el primer ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Collpani, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora María de Lourdes es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: venta de juguetes, venta de salchipapas, snack, venta de ropa, venta de libros, venta de productos Esika, venta de aretes, venta de sandwichs.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias donde la señora María de Lourdes es integrante, ella indica que hace dos años que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de salchipapas (comida), negocio que implemento hace varios años por iniciativa propia.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de heladera y garrafas) que adquirirá de las ferias de la ciudad de El Alto y posteriormente lo instalará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para mantener en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es soltera y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las capacitaciones del área de salud.
