Edward lives in the city of Mombasa. He is single and lives in a rental house. He is requesting his first loan from Yehu to buy an inventory of second-hand clothing to resell.
Buying and selling such items has been Edward’s activity for the past three years. “It is one of the activities that Kisauni people enjoy and are good at doing,” he said.
Edward is a responsible young man who promises to make his repayment on time so that he will be entrusted with more loans in future.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
