Raymond is a resident of Litein, South Rift, Kenya where he lives with his family and has been practicing mixed farming for ten successive years with maize, tea and milk being the main products for the local market.
Raymond has requested a loan of 40,000 KES from Juhudi Kilimo to buy a dairy cow. He hopes to raise enough income from the dairy cow to construct a modern dairy unit in future. His focus is to make dairy farming his core business and hopes to generate enough income to educate his three children who are aged between twelve and one years.
He notes that animal diseases are a great challenge in the business.
