James is a banana farmer from Rubindi, in Mbarara district. He is married with 8 children aged 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14; seven of them are in school. He also takes care of 6 dependents, the orphans of his late brother who died of AIDS; all of them are in school. He is a serious farmer and his family entirely depends on income from his banana sales to survive. He wants a loan of 1,500,000 UGX to buy fertilizer and manure to increase his production and create income for the survival of his family.
