Ermelinda's main source of income comes from planting and harvesting root crops for sale. She is a widowed 59-year-old. She is from Kinuman Sur, Ozamiz City and has been farming for 3 years, earning an amount of 2,000 per month. This year, Ermelinda joined GDMPC. Ermelinda is requesting a loan of 5,000 which will be used to purchase fertilizers such as manure. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.

Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
