Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 50-year-old Fatmata from Kandeh town. She is married with 3 children between the ages of 20 years and 30 years. One of her children attends school.
To earn a living, she runs a dry fish business within a busy market area. She has been running this business for 25 years. She works at the business from morning to night, 7 days per week, and her younger daughter usually helps her run the business. Her other source of income comes from her elder daughter. At present she describes her major problem as insufficient transportation in her community.
Fatmata has requested a loan in order to buy more fish to resell. The extra income from this loan will allow her to increase her business and improve her living. In the future, she plans to have another fish table. She thanks you for your support!
