Azhar is a conservative person who prefers not to have her photo published online, so her husband appears in her Kiva profile photo, taken inside the store. Azhar is a 36-year-old married woman - a housewife and a mother to two sons and two daughters. Her husband is employed and gets a low salary, which is not enough to cover all the family's needs.
For the past one and a half years, Azhar's husband has had a grocery store, selling different types of groceries. It has been a profitable project and a second source of income for the family, but also it needs more support to cover the costs.
Azhar wants to support her husband to improve the family's project, so she is requesting a 2,000 USD loan from FATEN to help her husband cover the costs of purchasing needed stock of basic groceries that customers often request, such as rice, sugar and dairy products. This will increase sales and increase the family's income, so they could live in better conditions.
