Dorys Catalina
Dorys Catalina is 44 years old and married with two older sons who are 21 and 26 years old. The 26-year-old doesn´t study anymore, but instead works, and the 21-year-old is studying in his first year at the university. Dorys is the owner of a business that sells used clothing, cosmetics, imitation jewelry, shoes, and other things. Her business is located in her house in Chichigalpa where people premoninately sell rum, sugar, caña (an alcoholic beverage made from sugar cane) and tobacco. She and her herband have dedicated themselves to selling cheese and groceries in the streets as well as fried food. Once she didn´t want to walk through the streets selling products, she established her business for used clothing and other products. She has spent eleven years on this business and has prospered little be little. Now Dorys has a high demand because there is a period of parties for the end of the year and the beginning of the sugar harvesting season in San Antonio, the largest creator of work in the zone. This will create a larger demand, and she would need to invest more to stock her business. For this reason she is asking for financing to increase her inventory.
