Cesar de 33 años de edad, originario de la Comarca la Condega, Municipio de Estelí, es de oficio comerciante, se dedica al negocio de pulpería, desde hace 5 años, padre de 1 hijo, el cual esta a su cargo. Cesar es cliente Kiva su primer crédito lo utilizo para surtir su pulpería de productos como arroz, azúcar, frijoles, aceite, gaseosa, etc... Este primer crédito le ayudo ya que pudo surtir su negocio con productos muy solicitados por sus clientes esta muy agradecido por el apoyo recibido de parte de Kiva. En el negocio recibe el apoyo de su esposa que le ayuda con la administración. El ahora requiere de su segundo crédito al igual para invertir en su pulpería con mercadería tales como azúcar, jabón, café, galletas, enlatados, huevo, pan, etc. Todos los productos necesarios para surtir aun más el inventario de su negocio. El estima que este préstamo le será de gran ayuda ya que aumentaran sus ventas generándole mejores ingresos que invertirá en su negocio. Sus planes futuros es ampliar más su negocio hasta convertirlo en una miscelánea para tener un negocio estable que le genere mejores ganancias y salir adelante con su familia.

Concurrent and Successive Loans

Our Field Partners often work with borrowers over a series of loans as the borrowers build credit, take out bigger loans, and expand their businesses. In order to make it easier for our Field Partners to post loans for borrowers who have been listed on Kiva before, we allow them to post successive and concurrent loans for their Kiva borrowers. Most borrowers take out loans consecutively, meaning that they receive a second loan after having repaid the first. However, sometimes our Field Partners give out concurrent loans, allowing borrowers to take out one primary loan and a secondary "add-on" loan along with it. These "add-on" loans are typically smaller than the borrower's primary loan and serve a different purpose. Because Field Partners can now post loans as successive and concurrent loans, you will be able to track borrower progress over time and see the various ways a borrower is working with our Field Partners through funds from Kiva’s lenders.
