Mzekala, age 21, is engaged in a family agricultural business in a small village of the Tskalbuto district. She lives with her husband, two infant children, her parents-in-law, and her brother-in-law. They have five milk cows, whose milk is used in cheese production, and at present they also have four calves. In addition, they have a pig and they sell piglets. The family also grows greens and cucumbers on their available farm land. They sell the harvested products locally in an open market at a good price.
Mzekala is a very hard-working woman and has gained a great deal of experience in her business. She has requested a loan in order to build a greenhouse. With a functioning greenhouse, Mzekala will be able to grow different kinds of vegetables and sell them at market for good prices. This will increase the income of the family, thus raising their standard of living.
Mzekala is grateful for your support.
