The five members of the Jumelle group are married women with an average age of 35 and an average of three children. They live for the most part in monogamous families in Sanoubougou I, one of the working-class neighborhoods in the city of Sikasso. In order to satisfy customer demand, they are on their fifth loan with Soro Yiriwaso, a microfinance organization. In this group of women, Aminata sells drinks. She is seated in the photo. With her loan she plans to buy about 10 cases of sugary drinks that she will resell on-site and at the Sanoubougou I market. She expects to earn an average monthly profit of 23,500 FCFA, a part of which will be used to repay the loan and interest and the other part will be saved.

Les cinq membres du groupe JUMELLE sont des femmes mariées avec une moyenne d’âge de 35 ans, et ont en moyenne 3 enfants. Elles vivent la plupart dans des familles monogamiques à SANOUBOUGOU I un des quartiers populaires de la ville de Sikasso.
Elles sont à leur 5ème prêt avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso dans le souci de satisfaire le besoin de leur clientèle.
Aminata fait le commerce de boissons dans ce groupe de femmes. Elle est assise.
Elle compte acheter avec son prêt environ 10 casiers de boisson sucrée qu’elle revend en détail sur place et au marché de Sanoubougou 1.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 23 500FCFA dont une partie est utilisée pour payer le prêt et son intérêt et l’autre pour son épargne.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
