Victorine
Victorine is a 35-year old woman, who is married and mother to three boys, the eldest of whom is 11 years old and the youngest five. She has owned a small restaurant in a corner of the town for the past year; the restaurant's speciality is braised fish and chicken. She is dynamic and warm and has seen her customer base grow to the extent that she often runs out of basic products. This loan will enable her to boost her stock of basic products by buying on a wholesale basis cartons of fish and chicken, so that she can avoid running out of stock. The profits she makes will be reinvested in her business so that she can increase the capital; they will also be used to provide for her family's needs (health, food, education).
