They met through family ties, neighbors, and friendship.
The customer Makoro, the second person from the left in the row standing up, counts on buying a dozen fowl and condiments from the resellers in the area, and selling these products to customers in the village.
She envisages making a monthly profit of 15,000XOF which she'll use for her family's needs, reinvesting a portion in her business selling poultry and condiments.
Le groupe Kolaban est composé de femmes mariées et de veuves, elles ont en moyenne 36 ans, 4 enfants et vivent toutes dans des familles traditionnelles élargies dans la ville de Wakoro, chef lieu de commune, préfecture de Dioïla, Région de Koulikoro (deuxième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Elles se sont connues à travers des liens de parenté, de voisinage et d’amitié. Elles font le commerce de la volaille, de condiments, du savon, des fruits et légumes.

La cliente MAKORO, deuxième personne à partir de la gauche dans le rang des debout, compte acheter une dizaine de volaille et des condiments avec les revendeurs de la place, ces produits sont vendus aux clients du village.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice moyen mensuel de 15 000FCFA qui sera utilisé pour les besoins de la famille et une partie est réinvestie dans l’activité de vente de volaille et de condiments.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
