Nimatao is from Tiribe, Mombasa, Kenya. She’s married and has one child. Tiribe is a place noted for being very commercially productive.
Nimatao is a very hardworking, responsible person. Her economic activity for the last 19 years has been selling seafood. The business consists of buying and selling seafood, and she does it both from place-to-place and in a local market.
Nimatao has worked with Yehu Microfinance previously and has been responsible with her payments, making them on time as scheduled. She needs financing to invest in working capital to stock her business. Nimatao is grateful for the support provided by Kiva lenders to people of scarce resources and to poor countries like Nicaragua.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
