She began her business because she wanted to improve her livelihood. Her business is located on the outskirts of town and her main customers are contractors and men. Working 7 days a week and 10 hours a day, she earns about Le 1,600,000 every month from this business. She would like a loan of Le 5,000,000. Mariatu requires a loan to buy building materials like cement, iron rods, nails and paints for resale. In the future, Mariatu plans to build a house and establish another business outlet in the city.
