AbdelKareem is a 35-year-old married man with no children yet. He is employed and gets a low salary, which is not enough to cover his needs.
For the past two years, AbdelKareem has also been a taxi driver, which has been a profitable project and a second, helpful source of income to him, but also it needs some support to cover the costs.
AbdelKareem is requesting a $1,500 loan from FATEN to cover the cost of making some necessary repairs to the taxi he drives, such as painting and changing the wheels and mirrors. This will improve the taxi's condition and enable AbdelKareem to work extra hours and increase his income positively, which will offer to him and his wife better living conditions.
