Nimudzo is a married woman with six children, who has been working in her own grocery store for the past 20 years. She likes her work and puts much effort into improving it and expanding it as much as she can. Nimudzo is applying for a loan from Kiva partner Yehu in order to increase her merchandise with newly released goods and special-offer products that will increase her income and improve her standard of living.
Nimudzo is well known in the region, with her good reputation and special customer service. That's why she puts so much effort into pleasing her customers.
She hopes that one day she will be able to expand her small shop into a large supermarket.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
