Rajab is a young man who needs to generate income to support his wife who is still childless. He lives in the rural part of Mwambalazi. For over five years, he has been running a retail shop, which he says is doing well. Rajab gets up at 6:00 a.m. to open his store because that is when his bread suppliers deliver to him. From then on, he serves his customers. All day, he serves his neighbors and other people who need to purchase items at the store.
Rajab needs the loan to stock his business, since, at times, he lacks operating capital and the store is under stocked. He dreams of having a bigger store someday.
