A loan of $500 helped to pay for more stocks of mineral water to expand her product inventory.

Myrna's story

This is Myrna, 56, resident of Taguig city, Philippines. She is married to Agapito, an employee, and mother to her children. She, together with her husband, manages their own household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for her everyday expenses.

Myrna is a mineral water distributor. What she basically does is buy mineral water in container from wholesalers, sell them per container (5 gallons per container) with a profit. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns a minimum of Php500 in sales every day.

To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a Php20, 000 loan. She will use the loan to buy more stocks of mineral water to expand her product inventory. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.

Myrna dreams to be a successful businesswoman. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and where he can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God he studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
