Cielva Maria
Cielva Maria previously received a loan from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, with which she purchased supplies, like food supplies, sodas and beverages as well as large quantities of meats and chicken. She started her business selling food in 2006. Her business has grown bit by bit thanks to the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo loans, which have helped her in her ascent. Today, Cielva is requesting her first Kiva loan, with which she will purchase rice, cooking oil, chicken and a counter so she can make her products more comfortably and efficiently. Christmas and the New Year are approaching, and Cielva will sell a lot more pastries during the holiday season. But her working capital is insufficient to meet the demand. And that is the reason she is requesting her first Kiva loan, with which she will purchase rice, vegetables, meats, bijao leaves (leaves from a local, tropical plant that food is cooked inside of), pitas etc. Cielva will so surprise her customers with her delicious pastries, that they won't have to cook during the holiday season. Because they will have easily found, in Cielva Maria's business, everything they are looking for.
