Monica
Mónica is 36 years old. She is a good, kind, and very hardworking woman. She lives together with her partner, with whom she has three children who are still minors; she recently gave birth to her last baby. They all depend on her and her partner to give them a good quality of life. They live in their own house; they are a very united and hardworking family.

Mónica earns her living selling snacks. Her stand is located at her house. It's very busy, since her stand is well-situated in the neighborhood. She is well known for her good disposition and charisma, which has enabled her sales to provide the income they need. The need to be independent and the daily household expenses that she had to cover were the main motivations that led her to develop her business. She has run her stand for almost four years. In the beginning, she felt very intimidated by starting a business, but with time she was able to develop her skills; now she sells a lot and is happy about that.

What she likes most about her work is chatting with her customers and making them laugh. She thinks the hardest part is having to sell out in the strong morning sun. She would love to have a snack shop where she could sell in greater comfort and offer a better variety of products to her customers.

This is her sixth loan with MFP, so she thanks those who make her loan possible so that she can continue toward her objectives. She is once again very committed to repaying her loan on time, as she did with the previous loans that she has had. She is very happy to belong to her communal bank because all its members are very good, kind, people who are supportive of each other.

With the requested money, she will buy a larger quantity of snacks to offer to her customers. In addition, she will begin to stock her stand with some groceries.
