Beche is a 46 year old man who is married and father to 4 children. Upon completing his training, he opened a small sewing workshop that has been doing good business for the past 9 years. He also does embroidery and edging but he doesn't have the material needed to work fast enough that he can keep up with his orders and satisfy his customers. This is why he is requesting a loan to buy two machines (a sewing machine and a finishing machine). This will enable him to avoid going to the market all the time, since he will be able to sew and resell to his customers. In addition to buying small sewing equipment, he will use the profit generated by his loan to take care of some of his needs as well as those of his family.
