Umedjon
Umedjon is a young man, aged 29. He is married and has one child. His wife takes care of the house and raises their child. Umedjon himself has been a dekhan farmer for more than 7 years. He owns 4 hectares of land himself, where he grows onions and corn. In his spare time he carts hay privately. However, the money he earns from carting privately goes to the family's living costs.

To broaden his business and more precisely the growing of corn, Umedjon turned to Kiva. For the loan received, Umedjon would like to purchase seeds and fertilizers. He is very happy that an organization like Kiva exists, and that with the help of this kind of organization people in the low and middle class of the population can realize their plans. He thanks Kiva in advance for the support and understanding.
