Ep Don Bosco Group
In this Group: Saidiki, Hitimana, Kahindo, Paluku, Alice
Alice is a teacher in a Don Bosco primary school. She is 27 years old, married and the mother of two young children. This client has already undertaken small trading projects (clothing, sale of jewelry, makeup etc) to support her finances. Her husband is a student at the university, and additionally a professional photographer.
This new loan will allow her to strengthen these small trading activities, and she will use the rest of the loan as a deposit for buying a plot of land. She regrets the growing insecurity in the region and the negative collateral effects this has, notably on her projects.
Finally, she thanks Hekima for its help with mico-credit.

Cette cliente regrette l’insécurité qui se développe dans la province et qui a des effets collatéraux, surtout négatifs sur ses projets. Au finish, elle remercie Hekima pour son soutien en micro crédit.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.

Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
