Goerge is 32 years old and lives in the town of Namutumba in the Iganga region of Uganda. He is married and has 3 children who are all currently in school. For the past 10 years, Goerge has been working hard to manage his small shop, in which he sells clothes.

To help expand his business, Goerge has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to buy more clothes that will be sold. The loan will help Goerge to generate greater profits and pay for his children's school fees. Goerge hopes that, in the future, he will be able to build a very big, comfortable house for his family.

Goerge is a member of BRAC's Small Enterprise Program (SEP). The program primarily serves small entrepreneurs like Goerge who do not have enough collateral for commercial loans but have businesses that have grown too large for microloans.
