Chheng, 70, lives with her spouse in her own home, along with five children, one of whom is married. Chheng has made a living by growing vegetables and rice on her existing farmland. She has been doing this for over 40 years. Her husband is the one who is always helpful in every piece of work she does.
To gain good transportation for collecting her vegetable crops from the fields and bringing them to the market, Chheng would like to borrow some funds from Kiva lenders in order to purchase a pulled trailer. It is going to cost 300 USD. With this loan, Chheng will meet the financial needs of her business and improve her ways of reaching her goals. Chheng dreams of having a suitable house for her family in the future.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
