Sorphorn is 36 years old. She is married and resides with her two children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating mushrooms to sell for more than ten years, earning approximately $2 per day. Her husband runs the business of purchasing junk materials to resell. He makes an income of $4 each day. In order to improve her husband’s business, Sorphorn is requesting a loan of $500 to purchase a motorbike to use for transporting junk materials. This purchase will help her husband to transport junk materials in greater quantities and faster. In the future, Sophorn would like to expand her business and send her children to a good school. She also wants to rebuild her present house to make it much better for her family’s living condition.
