Fatuma considers herself to be a happy person, of good character, friendly, and above all very responsible in her work. She lives with her husband and their five children in the town of Msambweni.
Fatuma works selling food items in a small food stall. It’s going very well, and she is very popular among her customers. This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
