Mwanangano is a married woman with six children under her responsibility. She is originally from Likoni, a place that is located in the southern zone of the Coast Province. This woman is characterized as being a hardworking and responsible person with a desire for personal improvement.
She has a financial business running a food stall, and has been in this business for two years. She has therefore demonstrated her responsibility in paying on time and in the right manner. The objective of this loan is to invest in working capital and supply her business with the purchase of ingredients such as rice, beans, sugar, oil and flour.
She is grateful for the help that Kiva investors offer to people of scarce resources and poor countries to have a means of dignified work.

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
