Sergei grows cucumbers and tomatoes in the village of Velikaya Znamenka. He and his family have been in this business for five years already. Before he took up farming, he worked 11 years in a shipyard. After that, he worked for awhile as a taxi bus driver. He lost his hand at work and, once the disability was officially recorded, he lost his job. It was then that Sergei's family decided to move to the village so they could at least grow their own food.

Before long, they had built up a nice farm, and now everyone works the land together. Sergei would like to invest an additional 10,000 hryven (UAH) in installing a heating system in their greenhouse, in particular buying a boiler for the system. Because Sergei has room on the land for another greenhouse, in time, he would like to expand further.
