Rehema lives in the Mariakani area of Coast province, Kenya. She is married and has three children. She owns a green grocer that she has been operating for seven years. In this business, Rehema sells vegetables like tomatoes, kale, etc. She began the business through the savings she had made from casual jobs.
Rehema learned about Milango through a friend with an aim of accessing credit to improve business operations. The challenges she is facing are price fluctuations, inflation, and purchasing stock.
Rehema is applying for a loan of 41,850 KES to buy vegetable in wholesale, such as cabbages, tomatoes, bananas, carrots, pepper, onions, etc. The extra income from the loan will be added to her savings to purchase a piece of land and build a residential house in addition to helping educate her children.
