En el cantón Rocafuerte se reúnen cada quince días las socias del Banco Comunal Mujeres Trabajadoras. Este lugar se lo conoce por sus deliciosos dulces que preparan los lugareños y que son reconocidos en todo el país.

En este lugar vive la señora Maryorie, tiene 37 años de edad, mantiene una relación de unión libre de la cual tiene tres hijos de 17, 13 y 11 años, los dos mayores estudian en colegio y el menor en escuela. Su marido trabaja en una camaronera.

Ella es una muy buena ama de casa que además de dedicarse al hogar y la atención de su familia también se dedica a la preparación y venta de comida, ella prepara desayunos y almuerzos los mismos que vende en su casa donde tiene unas mesas y sillas para sus clientes que llegan a servirse sus deliciosos platos, antes solo entregaba los almuerzos a domocilio pero poco a poco y con la ayuda de los créditos fue adecuando un pequeño restaurante. Con este negocio ella se gana lo suficiente para solventar los gastos de sus hijos.

Este crédito es para comprar arroz, carne, plátano, maní y otros víveres para la preparación de los alimentos. Esta desde el inicio en el Banco Comunal y le gusta porque el grupo es muy unido y responsable.

Su sueño es que sus hijos sean buenos profesionales.
