Trabajando Por El Futuro Group
This is the case with Isabel, 38. She has a spouse and four, school age children. She and her husband work in the same business but each in a different recreational center. She’s gradually equipped herself with boats and trampolines among other games and they recently purchased a four-wheeler.
Income made it possible for her to build her house and help her husband with part of their children’s schooling costs. Her wish is to see her children become professionals and to buy more games.
The loan she’s requesting will be used to make a payment on another four-wheeler. She’s second from the left wearing a gray shirt and black pants. Marcial’s picture appears in the top right.
The “Trabajando Por El Futuro” group is grateful for the loan granted.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
