La señora María tiene 47 años de edad, es madre soltera, tiene 4 hijos, reside junto a sus 3 hijos menores en una comunidad del Municipio de San Pedro Sula, Departamento de Cortes.
María se dedicaba a la venta de tortillas, con algunos ahorros logro establecer hace 2 años un puesto de comida donde vende pollo frito, carne asada, chuletas, todo acompañado con tajadas de banano verde, frijoles fritos y ensaladas verdes.
Con el fin de aumentar sus ventas, decidió solicitar un préstamo por la cantidad de 5,000 Lempiras, los que piensa invertir en la compra de carnes, verduras, frijoles, condimentos y bananos verdes.
Con el apoyo financiero lograra obtener una mejoría en sus ventas y sus ingresos, los que piensa seguir invirtiendo en la educación de sus hijos.
