This is why he is asking for 3,200 quetzales so he can buy potato seeds and fertilizer for cultivation and harvesting, improving the family income.

His dream is to expand his cultivation to other plots to generate better earnings for his family.

Pedro es un hombre agricultor de 67 años de edad. El está casado y vive en Sololá. El tiene cinco hijos de ellos cuatro mujeres que están casadas y un varón que lo apoya en el campo de la agricultura.

El se dedica a la agricultura cultivando cebolla y papa en parcelas que tiene a pocos metros de su casa, esto lo aprendió de su padre desde que era pequeño porque el lo ayudaba en el campo de la agricultura siendo su principal trabajo en la actualidad.
El empezó a trabajar su propio cultivo desde los 15 años, vio que ya tenía la capacidad y la posibilidad de trabajar solo por que obtiene ganancias buenas cultivando estas verduras. De este modo el solicita un préstamo de Q 3,200.00 para que el pueda comprar semillas de papa y su fertilizante para cultivar y cosecharlo mejorando sus ingresos junto a su familia.
El sueña con expandir su cultivo en otras parcelas para generar mejores ganancias para la familia.
