Iván is 35 years old, single, and resides in a rural community in the town of Lepaera, Department of Lempira. He has always been involved in farm work, specifically producing and selling basic grains and coffee.

At the moment, Iván is participating in a group loan request because he plans to invest in the purchase of fertilizers for his coffee farm and to pay for labor to help with pruning and harvesting his crops. With this financial support, he will be able to achieve a better harvest. This will motivate him to continue producing and expanding his crop. Iván’s goal is to excel financially by generating more income.

Iván is part of the solidarity group named “Juntos al Desarrollo” (Together for Development). This group consists of four people and the members appear in the photo from left to right as follows: José, María, Iván (the group coordinator), and Lorenzo. All of them produce and sell wet parchment coffee. They all reside in the same community and will use this loan to buy fertilizers and pay for labor needed to prune coffee plants and collect the beans.

Iván tiene 35 años de edad, es soltero, reside en una comunidad rural del municipio de Lepaera Departamento de Lempira.
Desde siempre se ha dedicado a las actividades agrícolas específicamente a la producción y venta de granos básicos y al cultivo de café.
En este momento ha solicitado un préstamo grupal el cual piensa invertir en la compra de fertilizantes para abonar la finca de café y el pago de mano de obra en el corte y cosecha de este cultivo.
Con el apoyo financiero lograra obtener una mejor cosecha, lo cual le motiva a seguir produciendo y ampliando su área de cultivo. Su meta es superarse económicamente obteniendo mejores ganancias.
Iván pertenece al grupo solidario denominado “Juntos al Desarrollo”, dicho grupo está conformado por 4 personas que en la foto se identifican de la siguiente manera: de izquierda a derecha José, María , Iván (coordinador del grupo) y Lorenzo. Todos los integrantes se dedican a la producción y venta de café en pergamino húmedo, además residen en la misma comunidad y utilizarán el préstamo para la compra de fertilizantes y pago de mano de obra en el corte y recolecta del grano.
El préstamo total Grupal es de 45,000 Lempiras.
