Moussa is a 49-year-old man. He’s Lebanese and married to Souad, a lovely wife and the mother of his five children. She is a great support for him and ready to show help whenever needed. Moussa’s youngest children are also working to supplement the family’s income.
As for him, he has been working in selling fresh milk to the neighboring villages. He raises cows from which he obtains dairy products. He has been involved in this domain for many years; he knows very well how to manage his work in a good way.
For this reason, he wanted to take a loan from Kiva Partner Ameen s.a.l. to purchase new milk machines. They will speed up the milk production and facilitate his business operations. In his opinion, this step will allow him improve his productivity, therefore his earnings and thus his whole way of living.
Because of his good products, Moussa thinks he may open a small shop where he can sell all kinds of dairy products.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
