Siamini is 31 years old and is the young mother of two children. She is a very responsible and hardworking mother, who lives with her family in the rural area of Mwambalazi. Siamini has a small fruit-selling business outside the market; she sells coconuts. She has had this business for four years. She also has a general store in her home. She also raises some livestock, and she attends to her animals during her free time.
Siamini wants to stock her coconut-selling business, but she does not have enough working capital. Therefore she is asking for a loan in the amount of KES 40,000 to buy more stock of coconuts to resell.
