Eunice is 38 years old. She and her husband are in a common-law relationship and they have six children. Eunice and her family reside in a community in the town of Samburu.
Eunice started her grocery business five years ago. She sells home products such as flour, basic grains, cleaning products, etc. She was motivated to establish her business so that she could help her husband with the family expenses.
She is currently requesting a loan in the amount of KES 40,000. Eunice plans to invest the money in the purchase of more products such as rice, sugar, flour,detergents, medicines, soft drinks, condiments, toilet paper, and snacks.
She believes the loan will be helpful because it will help her to maintain the inventory in her business and allow her to offer better service to her customers

This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
