Than was born in 1953. She has four children who work as laborers and farmers; one is a student. Her husband sells tobacco to earn a living. His income is about 4,000,000 VND. Than is a farmer who raises pigs, and earns 2,500,000 VND a month. Her family’s total earnings are about 10,000,000 VND per month.
Than has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2007. In the last cycle she borrowed 9,632,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 10,080,000 VND to buy food for her pigs.
