Justine is married with three children, one of whom currently attends school. She lives in Kampala, Uganda, and does not look after additional family members. For the past three years, Justine has been running a restaurant from her home. She works seven days a week and has no other source of income. Justine's challenges include transportation and seasonality. She lives in a rented house without access to electricity or running water and her major monthly expenses are school fees and rent.
Justine is requesting a 300,000 UGX loan from MCDT- SACCO to buy rice, beef, chicken, beans, cow peas, green bananas, and charcoal. In the future, her dream is to expand her business into a big restaurant that serves all types of dishes.
