Fata, 38, lives in the Sinkor community with her husband and four children, who are between the ages of 6 and 18, and are attending school. For the past ten years she has been selling coal, palm oil, rice, pepper, onions, and many other items at retail prices.
Some difficulties she faces are the low sales during the raining season. She makes a profit when she sells, and she uses the profit to buy more goods for resale, and help her husband with the household expenses. She sells for eleven hours a day, and she transports her goods by taxi. She thanks the lenders for empowering her in her business. With the loan she receives, she will purchase more coal, palm oil, rice, pepper, and onions for her business. She hopes to build a decent house in the future.
