Rehema is married with three children, two of whom attend school. She lives in Kampala, Uganda, and also looks after her sisters. For the past three months, Rehema has been in the second-hand clothing business. She works six days a week and also is a nurse to earn another source of income. Rehema's business challenges include seasonality. She lives with her husband, and her family has access to electricity but not running water. Rehema's major monthly expenses include school fees.
Rehema is requesting a 1,000,000 UGX loan from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bales of used clothes such as skirts, blouses, and dresses to sell. Her dream is to build her business into a well-stocked boutique.
