Originally from a village of Kror Kor province’s Pursat district, Many is aged 21 years and married. For more than five years, she has been farming rice as a primary source of the family’s income to make a living. Her husband also earns extra income by working for others for a fee. Together, they can earn about KHR 19,000 per day and manage to save about KHR 10,000 each day for future needs.
Many is a new borrower with VisionFund. Now she is applying for another loan of KHR 4,000,000 to buy a buffalo to raise, and will use a portion of it to spend on buying an oxcart to help her in the farming business.
This loan will enable her to extend her farmland to increase her rice farming production to make more rice to improve her family’s lifestyle.
