The “TRIUNFADORAS 25 DE JULIO” community association will begin its second cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Collapani center. It’s made up of eight members and directed by a board of directors where Julia serves as the president. The members have various types of businesses such as: fried foods, wall hanging knitting, macramé, carpentry, and sale of tools.


This loan will benefit the small businesses and this is Julia’s first time with Pro Mujer, having joined upon a friend’s invitation who is also a member. She has two sewing businesses and learned this in her previous job in Argentina. She started her small business when she returned to Bolivia.



She will use the money from this loan to buy fabric from distributers in El Alto. She will then make and sell items from her point of sale. This type of work allows her to help support her household. She’s married and has two children.



When asked what she likes about Pro Mujer, she says that she likes the health and credit training.

La A.C. “TRIUNFADORAS 25 DE JULIO” iniciará el segundo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Collpani, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva donde la señora Julia es la Presidenta. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos existen: elaboración de frituras, tejido de mantas, macramé, carpintería, venta de herramientas.

El crédito que sacaran beneficiara a pequeñas microempresarias con distintos rubros, donde la señora Julia es parte integrante, ella indica que es la primera vez que integra Pro Mujer, ingresando por invitación de una amiga que es socia de la institución. En la actualidad ella tiene dos negocios de costura, porque aprendió esta habilidad de un trabajo anterior que realizaba en Argentina y al volver a Bolivia emprendió su propia microempresa.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para el aumento de capital (compra de tela) que adquirirá de las empresas distribuidoras de la ciudad de El Alto, posteriormente a la elaboración lo comercializará en su espacio de venta. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar en lo posible a su hogar pues ella es casada y tiene dos hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta las capacitaciones en salud y crédito.
