Sorn is 58 years old and resides in a rural area of the Kandal Stoeng district of Kandal province, Cambodia. She has three children. To make a living, she has been engaged in rice farming. Her current business earns her approximately US$9 per day and allows her to save about US$3 each day after expenses. Sorn has been involved with VisionFund for thirteen years and has fully repaid her loans. She has successfully used her previous loans to support her family with enough food. She is now applying for a loan of US$800. With this loan, she is going to buy a decent motor for her family's commuting. She hopes this loan will enable her to improve her standard of living.
