Ron is 49 years old. She is married and resides with nine children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been employed as a worker who cuts down trees for more than ten years, earning approximately $5 daily. Her husband is a rice farmer who earns about $3 each day. Two of her children are employed. They earn about $6 per day.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Ron requests a loan of $1000 to purchase farmland to use for farming. This purchase will help her earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand her farming business and help her children earn a higher education. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
