"MIGNONMIDE 7"est un groupe de quatre personnes, dont les membres sont des amis et vivent dans un même village. Le représentant du groupe, Pierre1 (qui a la main levée sur la photo), est marié à Pauline, une marchande. Pierre1 est âgé de 47 ans et vit au Bénin. Pierre1 n’a pas fréquenté l'école. Le couple à sept enfants, dont certains sont scolarisés et tous à leur charge. Pierre1 vit ensemble avec sa femme et ses enfants. Le couple assure ensemble avec leurs enfants les diverses charges familiales. Pierre1 est agriculteur depuis près de vingt deux ans. Dans le but de renforcer son activité et de satisfaire la demande de sa clientèle, Pierre1 désire acheter des intrants pour cultiver du piment et du maïs. Pour ce fait Pierre1, sollicite ensemble avec les autres membres du groupe "MIGNONMIDE 7" un premier financement auprès de ALIDé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late.
