The "MISSIMIDE 4" group is made up of five people who are friends and live in the same village. This is the first time that the group has requested financial support from ALIDe. Their goal is to improve their businesses. The group representative, Assanni, is pictured raising his hand in the photo. He is 52 and lives in Benin. He is married to Kounoumé, a merchant. The couple has ten children, some of whom are in school, eight of whom are under their care. They and their children share the family responsibilities. Assanni did not go to school. For 28 years he has worked as a farmer. In order to provide customer satisfaction, Assanni wants to buy supplies for cultivating peppers, corn, and cassava root. In order to do so, he and his fellow MISSIMIDE 4 group members are requesting the support of ALIDe.

Le groupe "MISSIMIDE 4", est composé de cinq personnes qui sont des amis et vivent dans le même village. C'est la première fois que ce groupe sollicite l'aide financier de ALIDé, afin d'élever le niveau de leur activité. Le représentant du groupe, du nom de Assanni est celui qui a la main levé sur la photo. Assanni est âgée de 52 ans et vit au Bénin. Assanni est marié Kounoumé, une marchande. Le couple à dix enfants, dont certains sont scolarisés, et dont huit sont à leur charge. Le couple assure ensemble avec leurs enfants les diverses charges familiales. Assanni n’a pas fréquenté l'école. Assanni depuis vingt huit ans exerce comme activité l’agriculture. Dans la quête de la satisfaction de sa clientèle, Assanni veut acheter des intrants pour cultiver du piment, du maïs et du manioc.Pour ce fait Assanni, sollicite ensemble avec les autres du groupe "MISSIMIDE 4" l’appui de ALIDé.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000. This means that some Kiva lenders may receive their repayments late. However, Alidé remains a healthy institution in good standing with its creditors, and Kiva would like to continue working to support its clients. This is a Group Loan
