Hussein is an adult married man. He’s 58 years old, Lebanese, living with his wife. He’s trying the best he can to enhance their way of living and offer his wife whatever she needs. From time to time, his wife’s support, even if it’s moral support, is considered very necessary, just to be able to stand his tough work tasks.
Hussein has been working as a taxi driver for many years. He works on a free-lance basis upon requests. And as he wishes to pay his car mechanics fees and perform the needed maintenance on it, he is asking today to borrow a loan from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l. This will facilitate his job and allow him transport his customers safely. In the near future, buying a new van will improve his life financially.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
